One of the most important means of maintaining the integrity of our handicaps is peer review. Peer review is made possible at Lake Valley Golf Club by providing access to scoring records and USGA Handicap Indexes for inspection by others, including but not limited to fellow Members and the club’s Handicap Committee. These records are available either in printouts located by the handicap computer or in files in the handicap computer. As Members of Lake Valley Golf Club, each of us should periodically check these records to assure that the scores of our playing companions are being accurately posted. If inaccuracies are noted, and a mention of the issues to the involved player does not solve the problem, a mention of the issues to a member of the Handicap Committee can result in correction.
