Lake Valley Golf Club is a private, golf-only Club featuring one of the premier golf courses in Colorado. It’s a favorite among the Boulder and Longmont area golf courses.

Lake Valley Golf Club is all about golf. Whether you’re a scratch player or a 30 handicapper, if you share the same passion for the game as our members, you’ll definitely feel welcome here. We are an affordable, casual, private golf club with a culture of fast play and a focus on our members golfing needs and desires.

  • The Golf Course

    • Located between Boulder and Longmont, Colorado, our links style golf course is fun to play, round after round, and among the best golf courses in Colorado. Lake Valley opened in 1965, and features a great variety of holes and spectacular views of Colorado’s Flatirons and foothills.
      Known for it’s outstanding, old style “push-up” greens, natural feel and abundant wildlife – as much as having hosted the 2016 USGA Senior Open Qualifying and numerous other Championships – the course can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. Playing anywhere from 2896 to 6891 yards, with 6 sets of tees (11 sets counting “combo” tees) the par 70 golf course is easily walked with short distances from greens to tees.


  • Practice Facilities

    • Lake Valley Golf Club’s practice facilities are the perfect place to hone your game, warm up, or just hang with your friends. We have a 2-sided grass tee driving range, complete with fairway bunkers, numerous targets, and an artificial turf tee line – perfect for practicing on those sunny but snow-covered Colorado winters days.

      Adjacent to the range, is a 70 yard short game area, featuring 2 greenside bunkers, numerous humps and bumps, and grasses of various lengths – all designed to emulate real golf course conditions. Capping it all off is a ¼ acre practice putting green where low (no-ball marks) chipping is also encouraged.

  • We’re a Golfer’s Club

    • Lake Valley Golf Club is not a country club with golf; it’s a golfer’s Club. There are Boulder golf courses and Longmont golf courses, but we are the sole golf-only club in Boulder County. It’s true that Lake Valley Golf Club members have access to a private, on-site lake for fishing, boating, and swimming, but, basically, we focus on you and your golf.

      Our friendly, experienced, PGA staff is here to help you as much as you like. Our Golf Shop is open to the public as well, which enables us to carry the latest and greatest equipment, shoes, clothing, and accessories. We are certified fitters for TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Cleveland, Srixon, XXIO, Mizuno and U.S. Kids and have “demos” for all of them. We take fitting so seriously that Lake Valley Golf Club is now only one of four fitters in all of Colorado for Edel Golf, makers of custom wedges, putters, and the original single-length shaft system played by Bryson DeChambeau.

      Lake Valley Golf Club members also enjoy playing privileges at hundreds of private clubs nationwide, through our affiliation with Troon Prive' and Advantage, Private Club Network, Invited, and Open Rounds. It’s a great benefit to those who travel for business or pleasure.
